Coincide your holiday cottage break in Cornwall with the 2010 Relentless Boardmasters in Newquay.  The Relentless Boardmasters is Europe's ultimate action sport and music festival, held over 5 days in Newquay the UK's original surf town.

The festival is set across two locations. Fistral Beach hosts the sports competitions, retail village and crowd favourite bikini competition, while Watergate Bay entertains the masses with 3 music stages filled with the latest and greatest musicians from around the globe.

The Relentless Boardmasters has hosted the best surfers in the world including Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Andy Irons and local hero Russel Winter. The waves have continued to impress the past few years allowing surfers to show their style to the masses.

Having started as Britain's first ever pro surf contest is 1983 when compact discs were just being invented, it has taken time for RBM to be conceived into what is today a 5* ASP World Qualifying Series surf event.

The main event off the water is the Vans Summer Session, Europe’s highest profile vert skate event. Watch skaters from around the globe shredding the 40ft ramp with a mix of airs and spins.  Ones to watch out for on the half pipe are UK rippers Sam Beckett and Sam Bosworth.

The Vans Summer Sessions BMX mini ramp competition was a newcomer in 2009 and was a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Over 40 of the UK’s top riders descended upon the Beach Village on Fistral and the carnage ensued.  Highlights included a fakie double tail whip by Ben Wallace which has recieved over 100 000 views online!

The legendary Nuts Boardmasters Babes Bikini Comp is back this year, so prepare for the hottest ladies in the UK to grace the stage and attempt to win the hearts of our expert panel of judges for the title of 2010.  Last year witnessed some smokin’ ladies parading the stage of the Fistral Beach Bar.

The latest surf and skate goodies are always on offer in the trade village. Taking over the Fistral Beach car park for 5 days, over 30 stalls offering everything from Electric skateboards to blow up wedges.  Brands such as Vans, Oakley, Animal, Roxy, Quiksilver, Electric and more were showing off their latest gear.

The Relentless Beach Bar over looks the sunny sands of Fistral, letting you relax and have a pint on the terrace while watching some of the best surfers in the world. Other activities are always going on during the day, in the past there has been a varied mix from ladies mud wrestling to b-boys breakdancing.   Relentless Beach Bar transforms at night into an intimate venue hosting the latest breaking bands in front of those lucky enough to have a ticket. This one of a kind venue has had the pleasure of exposing great musicians such as The Pigeon Detectives, Seasick Steve, Enter Shikari, Pete Murray and more...

Newquay
