Royal Troon Golf Club
7 times host of The Open, The Old Course at Royal Troon is one of the great links courses in Scotland. The back nine is one of the toughest in world golf. There is also the slightly shorter Portland course, which also provides a great round.

Prestwick Golf Club
This 6668-yard, Par-71 golf course boasts a rich heritage and offers a testing but enjoyable round of golf on this traditional links. Its location on the famous golfing Ayrshire coast offers a prime terrain on a stretch of land unequalled anywhere in the world.

Turnberry
Turnberry quite simply has two of the best golf courses that you could play, the Ailsa and Kintyre golf courses; with their breathtaking views and challenging layouts this venue makes for a perfect golf break.

Lochgreen Golf Course
One which favours the longer hitters, this is one of three courses in a single location in Troon. A good round of golf that won’t break the bank.

Western Gailes Golf Club
Founded in 1897, Western Gailes is one of the toughest links courses in Scotland. Measuring over 6,700 yards, it will provide a stern test to even the most experienced golfer.

Glasgow Gailes Golf Club
This challenging links course was designed by Willie Park and sits in the middle of Ayrshire’s golf coast. It has been selected as a qualifying venue for the Open Championship and has also hosted the Scottish PGA Championship.

Kilmarnock, Barassie Golf Course
Established in 1887, Kilmarnock Barassie is a 27 hole complex, with the 9 relatively new holes giving it a different dimension. It has some of the best maintained greens in Scotland.

Irvine Golf Club
At just over 6,400 yards, this isn’t the longest course, but the heavy spread of gorse and heather, the deep bunkers, and numerous blind shots make the Irvine Bogside course a true test of golf.

Belleisle Golf Course
Considered by many as one of the finest public courses in Scotland, the long fairways of this parkland course are flanked by hundreds of tall beech trees and crossed by a winding burn. The course has hosted some top Scottish and European competitions.

Darley Golf Course
In the same location as Lochgreen, though not as long. Accuracy is the key here, with the renowned Scottish hazards of heather, gorse and whin in abundance.

Dundonald Golf Course
Formerly known as Southern Gailes, this classic links was designed by Kyle Phillips. It has been hailed as an equal to Kingsbarns and has been recognised as one of the best new courses in the world.
