La Manga Club Tennis Centre offers a range of Junior Academy courses for different age groups.  The full junior programme operates during school holiday weeks, with a smaller tailored programme available outside these weeks all year round.

All courses run from Monday to Friday and offer an extensive group coaching programme that covers all major techniques of the game, with an emphasis on competitive fun.  This way, juniors can learn and practise with players of similar age and ability, coached by the experienced pros.

 - 6 and under - 'Mini Tennis': 45 minutes' tuition each day provides a fun introduction to tennis
 - 7-9 year olds - one-hour coaching session per day
 - 10-12 year olds - two-hour coaching session per day
 - 13-15 year olds - two-hour coaching session per day
 - 16-19 year olds - two-hour coaching session per day

Championship Tennis Courts - La Manga Tennis Centre is host to such prestigious events as the Davis Cup and Federation Cup matches, and the official winter training base for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). The LTA say that "La Manga Club is the premier sports and leisure resort in Europe".  Located in the heart of La Manga resort, there are 28 courts (mostly floodlit) in a choice of clay, AstroTurf or hard surfaces.

La Manga Tennis Academy - La Manga Tennis Academy offers the latest V1 digital coaching technology and first-class tuition for all ages, as well as a tennis shop, equipment hire services, racquet service centre, fitness centre, beauty treatments, sauna and jacuzzi.

Whether you're a complete beginner, a keen amateur or an up-and-coming club player, La Manga Club Tennis Academy will help you brush up your strokes in no time!  Under the direction of La Manga Tennis Club head pro, Fraser Wright, the multilingual coaching team offers a comprehensive, personalised and professional service for individuals, teams and clubs, all year round.

La Manga Club Tennis and Leisure Centre - The Tennis and Leisure Centre - with computer assisted tennis teaching systems - is located behind La Plaza, with easy access on foot or by car. You can find 28 floodlit courts consisting of fourteen clay courts, four astro-turf and four green set courts and an all encompassing the excellent Tennis Academy, 2 Paddle tennis courts, a practice wall, 2 squash courts, a bowling green, spa (jacuzzi and sauna), gym, beauty salon and a swimming pool.

At the Tennis Centre you can also find an excellent club house, as well as a pro-shop and a snack bar (Tie Break), the Fiesta Mini Club, where children of all ages enjoy games and outdoor activities throughout the hotter months of the year and when it is cold there are indoor activities provided.

In addition to arranging your La Manga Club accommodation, we are happy to assist with booking your tennis in advance and recommend that you pre book, especially in high season. After your accommodation has been confirmed by us, please contact us with your preferred times and dates.

Tailor-Made Tennis Coaching Programmes - Our experienced pros are also available for one-to-one tennis coaching or for personalised coaching programmes for groups, teams and clubs.

Practice Facilities - With a total of 28 courts in a choice of three different surfaces, the Tennis Centre at La Manga Club is one of the largest outdoor facilities in Europe.  Practising on the different surfaces will allow you to get to know and adapt to the particular demands of each type of court, adding valuable technical knowledge to your game.  Tournaments on a variety of courts are organised for those with a competitive streak.

20 Clay Courts - Clay is one of the highlights at La Manga Club and is one of the most important surfaces in the international game. It is deemed a 'slow' surface due to its high looping bounce.

Four Hard Courts - On hard courts, the speed of the ball is faster than on clay and the bounce is noticeably higher.

Four Artificial Grass Courts - With artificial grass, play is fast because the ball tends to slip on the surface.

Make sure you try the sophisticated, computer-based V1 video analysis system; you will notice the benefits straight away.

Tennis Fees at La Manga Club - All fees in Euros and are payable directly to the Tennis Centre at La Manga Club.  Whilst there are over 20 tennis professionals at the La Manga Tennis Centre, the Academy courses are very popular and it is essential that these are pre arranged as the courses are regularly fully booked.  All prices are in Euros:

Individual Coaching - 45 minutes (maximum 2 people )
Individual lessons - €55 per lesson (approx £41)
Individual lessons with video analysis - €70 per lesson (approx £52)

Tennis Academy Course Group Coaching (Courses run Monday to Friday every week)
19 and under - 10 hours per week - €265 (approx £198)
15 and 12 and under - 10 hours per week - €235 (approx £176)
9 and under - 5 hours per week - €155 (approx £116)
6 and under - 4 hours per week - €130 (approx £97)
